Join our Performance Team!
Innovative Performing Arts Center Performance Team will consist of dancers that want to perform at local parades, events, and nursing homes. (Some of the opportunities include the 6ABC Thanksgiving Day Parade, Downingtown Christmas Parade and the Strawberry Festival.) This is an extra chance for the dancers to show off their skills. The performance team is a group of dancers ages 10-18. In order to be a part of the performance team dancers must take the technique & stretching class during the dance season and the technique camp during the summer. Competition Team
Auditions will be held late spring and again in the summer. In order to be in the competition group you are required to take Ballet, Jazz, and Technique & Stretching during the dance season and during the summer the technique intensive camp and a jazz or ballet class.The Senior Competition team is for ages 12-18.
We are now forming a Junior Competition team for ages 8-11. This group is required to take the technique class and a jazz or hip-hop class during the dance season. In the summer they are required to take the technique intensive camp.
